In order to obey international copyright laws to the best of my understanding, the following will not be permitted on the GearKnob Wiki:
- Copyrighted literature beyond the cover and page of contents, aside from a general description, critique or analysis
- Copyrighted footage of any kind, unless it is deliberately compressed into .gif form and comprises no more than 5 seconds of footage per .gif
- Copyrighted audio of any kind
- Any Flash-based or other interactive content
- Episode transcripts, aside from occasional quotes
Conversely, I have decided to permit the following:
- Still frames from episodes, provided the total number of which does not exceed 5 seconds of footage at 25 FPS; in other words, 125 images per episode maximum
- Production stills gained freely from publicly-available internet sources
